The Sixers are coming off a dominant 121-90 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. In that game, the Sixers’ big three of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, and Tobias Harris combined for 45 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in roughly 23.5 minutes of game action. In all, fifteen Sixers suited up and played in that contest. The Hawks took a 14-point loss on the chin in Detroit on Monday night without Trae Young in the lineup. To Atlanta’s credit, five players reached double figures scoring the rock.

Ben Simmons to Record Over 2.5 Combined Steals and Blocks (+140, BetMGM)

Sixers point guard Ben Simmons returned to the lineup in Philadelphia’s 31-point rout of the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing four games due to an undisclosed illness. He was an absolute terror in just 22:37 of game action, terrorizing the Thunder on and away from the ball. He recorded three steals and two blocks in that contest, which represented his third consecutive game crossing the 2.5 combined steals and blocks threshold. He previously recorded two steals and two blocks against the LA Clippers and three steals and one block against the Brooklyn Nets.

Simmons has crossed the 2.5 threshold in five of his last seven games. In his nine career games against Atlanta, Simmons has amassed 29 combined steals and blocks, an average of 3.2 per game.

Bogdan Bogdanovic to Record Over 24.5 Combined Points and Rebounds (-106, FanDuel Sportsbook)

Trae Young is slated to miss his fourth consecutive game with an ankle sprain, which means an uptick in scoring opportunities for sharpshooter Bogdan Bogdanovic. During Young’s three game absence, Bogdanovic has averaged 23.3 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Given the limited scoring options Atlanta possesses, as well as Philadelphia’s trouble defending elite three-point shooters, Bogdanovic could cross the 24.5 threshold on points alone. Adding in the possibility of rebounds, of which he’s average 4.5 per game in the month of April, and this one has a solid chance of hitting.

Joel Embiid to Record a Double Double (-150, FOX Bet)

Sixers franchise center Joel Embiid has put together an MVP-caliber season and is still in strong consideration despite missing three weeks with a bone bruise in his knee. While Embiid has failed to record a double double in his last two games, it’s worth noting that those performances came in 26:50 of gametime against the Milwaukee Bucks in a game that didn’t feature point guard Ben Simmons, as well as a 22:59 effort in a 31-point blowout of the Thunder. Prior to those games, Embiid had recorded four consecutive double doubles with averages of 35.3 points and 14.3 rebounds per game over that stretch.

In the first meeting between the teams this season, Embiid dropped 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in just 22:49 of action. From a macro view, in eight career games against the Hawks, Embiid has averaged 25.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Given Atlanta’s limited interior options beyond Clint Capela, the MVP candidate Embiid should have no issues getting a double double.
