Let’s get it back to the Eagles, and Tom Donahoe-gate.

Tuesday morning, GM Howie Roseman gave an honest explanation of what happened during the awkward moment that was broadcasted FOR ALL OF THE WORLD TO SEE. It was Thursday night, the Birds had just selected Milton Williams with pick #73, and the Eagles Senior Advisor gave an awkward fist bump to Roseman, displaying what appeared to be some sort of disagreement with the selection.

We totally missed this tweet from Chris Mortensen last night, but he quotes Donahoe:

Honestly, I really liked Roseman’s explanation. I thought it was transparent and fair. Most of the Crossing Broad Facebook community disagreed and called it “bullshit” of some sort, probably because they feel like the Eagles still are not on the same page. They think Jeffrey Lurie is meddling and that Roseman is just flying by the seat of his pants, over-thinking the draft and reaching for injured and/or overrated prospects.

Regardless, we’ve now heard from Howie Roseman. We’ve heard from Tom Donahoe. This should put Tom Donahoe-gate to rest.

For now..
