Phillies Reportedly "In Serious Conversations" to Acquire Tyler Anderson
Another Phillies nugget:
LHP Tyler Anderson is scheduled to start for the #Pirates tonight. But multiple sources say that's not likely to happen.
The Pirates are in serious conversations to trade him to the Phillies for 2 second-tier prospects.

This is the second 31-year-old Pittsburgh Pirate the Phillies have been linked to today.
Anderson is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season. This year he’s started 18 games and has a 4.35 ERA. He’s striking out 7.5 batters per nine innings and has a 2.2 BB/9 number.
Stark notes in a follow-up tweet that Rafael Marchan would not be part of this trade, if it does materialize. Two other prospects instead. I personally believe that the entire Phillies farm system is mostly “second-tier” prospects, so the Pirates certainly are not lacking for options here.
Anderson is fine. Better than Matt Moore and Vinny V. He’s not the second-coming of Sandy Koufax but he’ll get you through five innings.
