Get excited! (as Tom McGinnis would say)

The Dallas Cowboys are this year’s NFL team appearing on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

I believe Andrew Marchand at the New York Post was first on it, and he writes this:

As the program enters its 20th season, the comeback of Dak Prescott will be a main attraction, as well as how Mike McCarthy does in his second year as head coach. Owner Jerry Jones will likely be a focus, as he is with nearly everything that involves the star.

The first episode will run on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 10 p.m. on HBO. The Cowboys were also spotlighted in 2002 and 2008.

Wow, that sounds compelling. Mike McCarthy? Dak Prescott? Jerry Jones? Make sure you mark down August 12th on your calendar. Block off that date and time.

Sike!

Dallas not only stinks, but they are no longer interesting. At least they had superstar players back in the day. Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin. Now they’ve fallen so far that the younger generation up here barely even considers them a rival. Put the Cowboys in the bagster!
