It’s cut day in the NFL. Gotta have the roster down to 53 players by 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, waiver claims will go public and teams can begin to form their 16-man practice squads.

The Eagles usually put out a release listing all of the players who did not make the team, but that isn’t out yet. We do have some individual reports regarding cuts and so far have compiled this list:

No surprises here, although Jason Huntley had showed some flashes here and there and might have helped in the return game had he not suffered a rib injury in camp. With Elijah Holyfield being cut over the weekend, and Kerryon Johnson earlier waived/injured, the Eagles’ running back group this year will be Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Jordan Howard, and rookie draft pick Kenneth Gainwell.

Also released over the weekend were Marken Michel, Cary Angeline, JaQuan Bailey, and Rashad Smith. Landon Dickerson and Rodney McLeod were activated on Tuesday and will occupy roster spots, so we’ll see how that affects the depth at other position groups, RE: cuts.

More news trickling in this morning and into the afternoon.
