NFL Cutting Down on Taunting this Season
Seems like we get a new NFL rule focus each season that fans seem to hate.
Recently it was “lowering the helmet” to initiate a hit, and this year the league really wants to cut down on taunting:
This is the video sent out today around the new strictly enforced taunting rules in games this season
Thoughts?

Hmm.. so you can’t flex on ’em this year. Not sure it’s the most egregious violation in the world. You’d probably prefer your guy just gets up and goes back to the huddle, but there’s nothing harmful there. There’s gotta be a little bit of showmanship permitted, within reason, or else the NFL becomes the fun police.
The NFL’s annual rule change and points of emphasis video notes game officials have been instructed to strictly enforce taunting rules in 2021. Two violations results in automatic ejection, with fines and even suspensions (!!) in play, too.
Well, I guess the Eagles should try to stay away from taunting this year. But you can live with a 15-yard penalty if somebody scores against the Cowboys then runs to the star and spikes the football.
