Unfortunately the Boston media corps has descended on South Philadelphia this week for the joint practice sessions between the Patriots and Eagles.

This guy is a Pats insider and tweeted on Monday morning one of the dumbest things you will ever hear, (h/t to Jimmy Kempski at Philly Voice for noticing and sharing it) –

Curran, in part:

“(Eagles players) are filtering in, shooting the shit, having a day, getting loose. Here’s the Patriots. We see this every single time we come to these joint practices. Patriots are already running shit, they’ve already kind of done things, they’re into their dynamic warm up ahead of stretching. We got air horns blowing. Every time we come to these joint practices we see this…. there’s also something to the level organization that they bring.”

Dude, please. What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought.

The reason the Patriots look organized is because they are the visitor. The visiting team is dropped off at the NovaCare facility as a group. The Eagles find their way to the field as they exit treatment and/or team meetings and whatnot. And this “dynamic warm up” appears to be a bunch of guys just standing around, so it’s not very dynamic, is it?

To equate this to any kind of cultural or organizational maturity is a stretch that you wouldn’t even hear from Skip Bayless or Stephen A Smith. It’s New England arrogance, trickling down from that revolting franchise and seeping into the bloodstream of their brainwashed media corps. If Eliot Shorr-Parks is down there at training camp today, he needs to put Tom E. Curran in the bagster.
