Tyree Jackson Out 8-10 Weeks with Back Injury
Eagles injury news:
Tough news for former QB turned tight end Tyree Jackson, who has a fractured bone in his back. It’s being described by team as a non-surgical injury. Typically an 8-10 week recovery.

Reporters say he took a hard fall during training camp on Tuesday while coming down after a catch.
This is a bummer, because Jackson was seemingly having a really good training camp. They were switching him from quarterback to tight end and he went out and caught a couple of passes for 32 yards in the Steelers game. Five targets for the 6’7″, 250 pounder.
The Birds have no choice now but to go out and sign Tim Tebow to take his place. They must replace one QB-turned-tight end with another QB-turned-tight end. Otherwise, the depth chart at tight end is Zach Ertz, Dallas Goedert, Dick Rod, and Jason Croom.
