Good news for the folks who’ve been pining for a US Open return to Merion Golf Club for the first time since 2013. The USGA announced on Wednesday that they’ll be returning to Ardmore four more times between now and 2050, as Merion Golf Club will host two men’s and two women’s US Opens.

One interesting thing to note about the awarding of the 2030 US Open is that it’ll take place 100 years after the great Bob Jones completed the Grand Slam at the same course when he won the 1930 US Amateur:

Additionally, the club was awarded the 2050 Men’s US Open, as well as the 2034 and 2046 US Women’s Open. Merion had previously been named the host site for the 2022 Curtis Cup Match and the 2026 US Amateur.
