Ben Simmons Non-Participation Friday Update

More nonsense:

Ben Simmons met with Sixers' medical professionals and coach Doc Rivers today and informed them that he's not mentally ready to play to his expectations now, sources tell ESPN. He also talked to his teammates today.

Sources: Ben Simmons spoke to Doc Rivers, Joel Embiid and entire 76ers team today and accepted everyone needs to take responsibility, including himself — but Simmons informed them all that he’s not mentally ready to play yet and needs time.

Here’s what’s gonna happen:

1. Ben will never play for the Sixers again.
2. Daryl Morey will be patient and let the trade market populate.
3. They’ll be hovering in the 4-5 range in the Eastern Conference, aka not good enough.
4. Morey pulls the trigger on a suitable trade that brings back a ball handler.

This won’t go on forever. They’ll stretch this out for a little while longer, but it’s not gonna linger for any ridiculous amount of time. Not four years. Not three years. Not two years. Not one year. It’ll go up until the trade deadline.
