Ever been home with a sick toddler?
Brutal. She’s got an infection in both ears.
Thankfully, there are myriad scribes in attendance at Sixers practice today, and they provided this update:
Ben Simmons will not speak today, team says. Planning for tomorrow

Players have to make themselves available to the media on at least a somewhat regular basis, so what generally happens is the PR staff will bring over 2-3 guys after practice on a rotating basis. You might get Joel Embiid, Furkan Korkmaz, and Georges Niang one day, then the next day it’s Tobias Harris, Seth Curry, and Danny Green.
Harris went yesterday, Sunday, and politely laughed off a line of questioning from “The King,” Howard Eskin:
Ben Simmons is back at practice with #Sixers. However when media was permitted in, no sign of Simmons. So we had to ask HC and players about Ben. Tobias Harris said he talked one on one with Simmons and I asked about conversation. @SportsRadioWIP pic.twitter.com/IqKkJwwyxf

Appreciate THE KING asking the hard questions, but if the hard questions don’t result in any kind of real answer, then was success attained?
That’s what we’ve been wondering for 30+ years now. We can talk about it more this Saturday, at 8 a.m., on 94 WIP. Live from the Borgata in Atlantic City.
