The Top Chiefs vs. Eagles Player Props Picks
A trip to the hospital after a loss last Sunday wasn’t going to keep Andy Reid from making his third visit to Philadelphia to play the Eagles since the two parted ways nearly a decade ago. Making the flight east along with Reid will be the stacked Kansas City offense, one salivating at the thought of facing an Eagles defense that just allowed 41 points to Dallas on Monday night. This matchup boasts one of the highest posted totals of the week, so plenty of big plays are expected.
Let’s jump into this NFL Week 4 matchup with a look at the best player props picks for Chiefs vs. Eagles.

The Top Chiefs vs. Eagles Player Prop Picks
Patrick Mahomes Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
The Chiefs should probably be 0-3 right now, but they certainly can’t blame that on Patrick Mahomes. He has completed over 70 percent of his passes, averaged over 300 yards per game, and has 10 total touchdowns already in the young season. Nine of those touchdowns were via his arm, three in each game.

Now, he gets to face an Eagles defense that lost its best pass rusher, Brandon Graham, and had trouble with double teams against its interior linemen on Monday. Philadelphia’s linebackers are a weakness (again), and if they are called upon to help in the run game (Philly is seventh worst against the rush), Mahomes should find Travis Kelce running free all day long.

Last season, Mahomes threw three or more touchdowns in six of his 15 regular season games, including three of his four against NFC opponents. He tossed 12 total touchdowns in his four games against NFC teams in fact, including three in each of his road games versus NFC opposition. Expect more of the same here against an Eagles team that looks lost right now, especially with Reid surely wanting a no-doubter win to get his team right and to win for a third time in three tries against his former team.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over 57.5 Rushing Yards
Clyde Edwards-Helaire finally broke through with a 100-yard effort in Week 3 on just 17 rushes. His first two games this season saw him tally just 89 yards rushing, but we should expect an increased number of carries here and an output similar to last week’s against the Chargers.
After all, the Chiefs are significant favorites on the road in this one and are in dire need of an emphatic win to get their confidence back. They are unlikely to take their foot off the gas. If they have a big lead in the second half, Edwards-Helaire should be a very popular choice to see the football.
love the patience and persistence from Clyde Edwards-Helaire here. turns out the best way to fix a broken RB might be facing the Chargers pic.twitter.com/dW4b2JyaZo

The Eagles are 26th in the NFL against the rush in the early going and were completely man-handled in the run game by the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. Both Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard eclipsed this prop total in the same game, as a matter of fact. Philadelphia lacks the personnel to match up against both the pass and the rush and may have to cheat to the pass to try to contain Mahomes, leaving running lanes for Edwards-Helaire.
He topped this prop’s number in six of his 13 regular season games and one of his two playoff games last season. Six of the seven times he received 14 or more carries during the 2020 regular season he topped this prop’s total, a number he is more than likely to receive in this game.

Miles Sanders Over 19.5 Receiving Yards
The Philadelphia media and fan base lost their minds after Nick Sirianni called just three rushing plays to running backs on Monday night in the loss to Dallas. Now, Sirianni will either double down on his approach, meaning copious opportunities for Miles Sanders to be on the field catching passes, or he will appreciate the necessity of keep opposing defenses honest with a run game, again leading to an abundance of snaps with Sanders on the field.
Either way, Sanders should be an integral part of almost everything the Eagles do offensively in this one.
Playing Sanders’ rushing yards over prop could be dicey, in case Sirianni does dig his heels in and forces the issue with incessant passing. However, this receiving yardage prop for Philly’s lead back has the feeling of something that could cash with just one well-timed screen pass.

The Chiefs conceded five catches and 46 yards through the air to Cleveland running backs in Week 1 and 52 more yards on six catches to Austin Ekeler last week. Sanders fits that Nick Chubb/Kareem Hunt/Ekeler mold as a guy who can run the ball and catch it out of the backfield — when the Eagles let him.
The Chiefs defense is the third worst yardage team in the league and could have a large lead in the latter stages of this one, meaning prime underneath real estate likely being available for Sanders in checkdown situations. The Chiefs are also amongst the league’s 10 worst defenses in stopping both the pass and the run, again emphasizing the importance of having Sanders on the field as much as possible here.
Sanders caught three of his six targets Monday night for 28 yards and his backfield counterpart, rookie Kenneth Gainwell, caught three of four for another 32 yards. The pair caught six of nine targets in Week 1, with Sanders grabbing four of those for 39 yards. There should once again be plenty of passes heading the running backs’ way in this one, so cashing this prop should not be an overly difficult task.
