This James Harden Thing Makes No Sense

If you missed it earlier, the Nets announced that Kyrie Irving won’t be participating in anything team related. That’s because he’s not vaccinated and therefore ineligible to play home games in New York because of COVID rules.

That would mean James Harden and Kevin Durant have to carry the load in his absence, so why in the world would Brooklyn move Harden? You’d think the Kyrie news would make Harden even more valuable to the Nets, and that they’d try to ship off weirdo Kyrie somewhere else.

I guess Stephen A is just saying that Daryl Morey is still high on Harden. He tried to trade for him last year and was not successful, but probably remains interested in bringing him to Philadelphia. There seems to be an incredibly small chance of that happening.
