Sixers news:

If there’s a silver lining here, at least Doc won’t have to answer any “dumbass” questions from Sixers media.

Heyo!

Anyway, the Sixers play in Brooklyn tonight and then host Houston on Monday. Keep an eye on how Burke subs players and who they go to down the stretch. We’ll find out if there’s anything more intricate than “throw the ball to Joel Embiid,” and we’ll see if they hammer home that Iverson cut from Seth Curry 47 times per game. Doc’s offense isn’t complicated, though I wouldn’t expect Burke to reinvent the wheel during the one possible game that he’s in charge, or two depending on whether Doc can be cleared for Monday.

You’d think that if Dave Joerger was still with the team, that he would be the guy running the show tonight, but he’s currently on leave while addressing the cancer diagnosis. It’ll be Burke instead, with Sam Cassell alongside him.

On a more serious note, hopefully Doc is feeling okay and gets well soon.
