Report: Ben Simmons Trade Talks “Gathering Momentum”

Finally a Simmons update:
ESPN reporting with @ZachLowe_NBA: Philadelphia's trade conversations on Ben Simmons gathering momentum in recent days. More teams engaged, more two and three-way deal structure talks ongoing as 76ers try to land a Top 25 player for Simmons.

The dysfunction of the Blazers helps. They just fired their GM. And the Pacers reportedly are ready to blow it up and move one or more of Caris LeVert, Myles Turner, and Domantas Sabonis. All of this opens up more avenues for the Sixers to traverse, and allows them to swing a three-team deal to get every involved party what they want.
Woj tweeted this as a follow up:
“Much of the renewed impetus surrounds Wednesday, when 84 percent of the league’s 446 players become eligible to be traded. Right now, 65 percent are eligible to be moved.”
Fingers crossed, this will be done sooner rather than later. Watch it happen in the middle of the night, like the Tobias Harris trade. It’ll be like 12:30 a.m. or something like that.
