Jake Elliott is Going to the Pro Bowl
Jake Elliott had a fantastic year and now gets a feather in the cap here:

Gay missed a 54-yarder on Sunday. Elliott would never!
Just kidding. But for real, Elliott and Gay both had excellent seasons. There were even Twitter arguments about which one deserved to go to the Pro Bowl. Can you believe that? People debating which kicker should get the honor.
Some Gay detractors noted that he kicked in a sterile LA environment, in a fixed-roof stadium, on an artificial surface. Elliott proponents noted that his home field is an outdoor spot along the eastern seaboard, so he’s dealing with the elements in a way that Gay is not. Elliott hit 90.9% of the his field goals this year and Gay was 2nd in the league with 94.1%, though there’s honestly very little to differentiate them. Jake was perfect on extra points, but Gay only missed one. You go through the data and the margins are razor thin.
So side with whomever you want. Bottom line, it’s nice to see Elliott get this replacement honor, because he had a great year. Let’s give the kickers some love. First Pro Bowl for Jake.
.@jake_elliott22 was tremendous in 2021, making 30 of 33 field goals – his 90.9 percent success rate set a franchise record – and converting all 44 of his PAT kicks to score a career-high 134 points.#FlyEaglesFly
