Wow, we’re really entering groundbreaking territory here. 94 WIP is going to talk about the Eagles’ quarterback situation? What a brilliant idea! This would be novel if they didn’t already spend 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year talking about this very topic. I would rather flip a coin for Anton Chigurh than have to go on Angelo’s show and make a pitch for Aaron Rodgers to the Eagles. Jonny Marks and Ike Reese should file for hazard pay.

Talk about beating a dead horse. Not only is the poor creature deceased, but the only thing remaining is the skeleton, and it is brittle. It’s more like a fossil than a skeleton at this point. That’s how badly the Eagles quarterback topic has been driven into the ground, just a few weeks removed from the playoff loss. WIP hit that offseason QB discussion harder than Sheldon Brown hit Reggie Bush.

Anyway, sorry for the snark, but this is farcical. WIP is essentially taking their daily topic and turning it into some special month-long thing, with a voting component. It would be like Crossing Broad saying “hey guess what? we’ve got a special treat for you this month – sardonic blog posts!” Like yeah, no shit, that’s what we do every single day already.

At least Spike was creative. Andy Reid Appreciation Day? Perfect. Well done. This one, however, is an eye roller. At some point WIP is gonna have to rebrand itself as “Eagles Radio 94 WIP.”
