Wednesday, Mike Missanelli got into a tangle with Harrison Sanford, who co-host’s Danny Green’s Inside the Green Room podcast.

The background is that on the latest podcast episode, Green said he didn’t think Ben Simmons would play against the Sixers on March 10th, and revealed that Simmons didn’t get along with Andre Drummond or Seth Curry. Green also was non-committal about shaking hands with Ben on his return.

So here comes Mikey Miss to accuse Green of essentially enabling Simmons, to which Sanford replied:

After being accused of enabling Ben’s flaws, Green took to Twitter to put Mike on a poster, outright! –

Let me start by pointing out a technicality here. The Sixers locker room has been closed since Rudy Gobert shut down the league in March of 2020. No reporter has been in a NBA locker room in almost two full years because of COVID rules. But what Danny is saying is that Mike doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He’s full allegedly full of baloney.

Now, Mike does come to some of the games, and he was in Camden on the day Ben Simmons got kicked out by Doc Rivers, but he’s a radio host and not a beat reporter who works in the field. Not everybody can be Howard Eskin, aka “the hardest working” person in Philadelphia (thick sarcasm). The real question here, if anybody cares, is about Mike and what he really knows. Does Mikey Miss have plugged-in Sixers sources? I have no clue. Maybe he knows something about Danny Green and Ben Simmons that we don’t. Or maybe he doesn’t. But it’s pretty funny that he doesn’t even seem to know that Sanford is Green’s podcast co-host, and then ends up getting posterized in the process.

Mike MUST respond to this on his show. He needs to fire back. You can’t let Danny Green have the last word. He needs to pull a Chris Dudley and throw the ball at Shaq.
