Danny Green Would be “Highly Surprised” if Ben Simmons Plays on March 10th

Is March 10th the biggest day ever? Sixers hosting Ben Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets. The boos may be so loud that the roof of the Wells Fargo Center BLOWS OFF and lands in the Navy Yard, upside down.

Danny Green had some interesting stuff to say on his latest podcast:

Andre Drummond and Seth Curry didn’t get along with Ben Simmons? Didn’t know that. Drummond didn’t even play with Simmons, and Curry was only his teammate for one year.

Also interesting that Green seems skeptical that Simmons will play in the Philly return. The Nets have seven games prior to March 10th, and the Sixers game is a stand alone on a Thursday, so it’s not like they could use a back-to-back excuse to get him out of it. They could always hit us with the load management or rest bullshit, and play Simmons on March 8th in Charlotte and March 13th vs. the Knicks. Ben will probably find a way to weasel out of it. Sore back or sprained pinky finger or something like that. Hangnail could be bothering him.
