Doug Pederson Lands the Jacksonville Gig

Doug P, who has massive cajones and won a Super Bowl here, interviewed for the Jag-wires job and got it:

It’s a great fit, honest to God. That franchise needed a reboot after the Urban Meyer experiment failed. They needed a respected NFL veteran to earn the trust of the locker room and change the culture down there in Duuuuuuval.
From Doug’s perspective, his franchise QB is in place. The Jags have the top draft pick. The weather is warm and the fans and media aren’t as hardcore. It’s really a great place for him to resurface after a year off.
The Eagles play the Jags at home this year, so that’ll be fun. And Doug is in the AFC South and will face Carson Wentz and Frank Reich twice next year:

Good for Doug, for real. He always deserved another head coaching gig in the NFL.
