Jalen Hurts is Having Ankle Surgery

Let’s get it back to the Eagles:
#Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is undergoing surgery today on his ankle, per sources.
Hurts played through the injury late in the season and the playoff game, but it clearly affected him. He should be fully recovered by the start of OTAs this spring.

You’ll recall the high-ankle sprain was suffered in the November 28th Giants game. Gardner Minshew came in and beat the Jets in the next game, then we went into the bye week, and Hurts returned to beat the Washington COMMANDERS. He did not seem to be moving as well as he was pre-injury, so obviously he was operating at less than 100% in those late season games. This should get him all straightened out and ready to go as QB1 next season, unless the Eagles make a bombshell quarterback move.
