I love Big Perk because he’s Joel Embiid’s number one fan. He gave Embiid maybe the worst nickname of all time in ‘Big Philly,’ but if he wants to carry the water on ESPN,I’m all for it.
Big Perk is the guy in the barbershop or at the end of the bar who makes outlandish comparisons and throws out ridiculous sports takes based on what he’s seen in the last seven days. His brain is incapable of remembering any games over a week ago. He’s completely reactionary based off the tide of the internet. Who cares though. Joel Embiid and James Harden are Magic and Kareem. Doesn’t matter Magic and Kareem led the Lakers to eight finals appearances and won five championships together. Who cares that comparing a 21 year old Magic and a 32 year old Kareem to 27 year old Embiid and 32 year old James Harden doesn’t make any sense. Who wins every argument in the barbershop? Whoever is the most stubborn. You’re not moving Big Perk off of his point. He will outwork you and out shout you until you’re exhausted and surrender. Who cares that Magic and Kareem played a totally different game than Joel and James Harden. Kendrick Perkins believes it, so it will be written. He’s basketball’s Dr. Umar. Save the levelheaded nuance approach to basketball for that suit, JJ Redick. Carry the hell on!
People really said that Morey gave up too much for Harden!!! Glad I wasn’t one of them. Don’t mind me and Carry the hell on…

Kinkead: here’s another take –
"Some bozos in Philadelphia are saying Harden and Embiid are the new Kobe and Shaq. That's comical. This is not even a Top 5 duo in the East. A 1st round exit would not be a surprise."
