An interesting little bit of news after the Eagles missed out on every big name wide receiver free agent this offseason. Part of which you can’t blame them, when teams are overpaying Christian Kirk up to $84 million (and there are some good prospects in the first round of the NFL Draft).

Robert Woods is locked up until 2026. He makes $10 million this year and $13.75 million the next, but if there’s anything we’ve learned from free agency it’s that the salary cap is not real. It can be manipulated, reworked, hoodwinked, and bamboozled. Robert Woods did tear his ACL in Week 10 last year but is expected to be ready by May. If the Eagles are serious about their belief in Jalen Hurts (I don’t think they are), getting a 29 year old Robert Woods for a 3rd rounder is a no brainer.

Though off the top of my head I can’t remember any big news this local radio station has broken, ever. Not like Lets Go To The Phones, the #1 weekly show on the 7th most popular station in Philadelphia, 92.9 FM “The Sack” –
