JJ Redick Stuck a Wet Wipe in his Ear Because Sixers Fans were so Loud

JJ Redick did the national broadcast for Sixers/Knicks Wednesday night. He was good. Really brought his veteran NBA experience to the color commentary gig and shared some great information about offensive sets and more in-depth things.
Also, it was so loud in the building that he was handed a makeshift ear plug:

Awesome. Good story to tell in the future –
“Hey, remember when Sixers fans were so loud that JJ Redick couldn’t hear shit and had to stick a wet wipe in his ear?”
Put it in the annals for safekeeping, this tale.
Redick followed up on Twitter:
We were going live and I couldn’t here (sic) audio. Camera guy pulls out a wipe and says “I put this in my ear all the time. Take this.” What was I to do? About 30 secs later we are live and I’m like shit…thats a sanitizing wipe
Then Redick was able to hear, and also had clean ears. It was a two-fer of positive things for him.
But for real, great job Sixers fans. The building was rocking the other night. Should be rocking again tonight.
