Russell Wilson will not be an Eagle, which means the radio stations are going to have to find something else to talk about. Heyo!
No news right now on how what Seattle specifically got back in return, but Tom Pelissero is calling it “multiple first-round draft picks, plus additional picks and players.” We’ll have to wait for more on that before we decide if the Eagles could have/should have tried to make an offer.
It does alter the discussion heading into the draft, right? This is not a great QB draft. Maybe the Eagles like Kenny Pickett and his small hands, or the raw Malik Willis. With Aaron Rodgers re-signing in Green Bay, and Wilson going to Denver, it leaves Deshaun Watson as the remaining big name trade piece, or Kyler Murray depending on what happens in the desert.
What will Howie Roseman do? Nothing? Roll with Jalen Hurts? To be determined!
Trade package:
Seattle gets QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DL Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick.
Denver gets Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick.
