Young Phillies Fan, who Willed Walk-Off Homer into Existence, on 94 WIP and FOX 29
Team effort here by Crossing Broad social media guy Dave and the WIP Morning Show.
For some background, NBCSP cameras captured a young fan willing a Bryson Stott walk off into existence. Prayers were answered:
Does anyone know the little kid? We would love to talk to him and/or a parent! https://t.co/0ngID7D5uX

Sure enough, WIP was able to track him down, and he and his dad made it on the air around 8 a.m. Monday morning. FOX 29 also got him on television a short time later, though I don’t see video of that yet, so here’s the WIP audio:
Oh man, they were near the Grand Slam ball, too? Let’s take a look…
Ah yes, this looks like the group, with the rally caps on, right? The shirts don’t match perfectly but this has got to be the location:
All of this is cool. We’re having fun out here. The Phillies fired Joe Girardi, swept the Angels, and then we got a viral moment with a youngster. People WANT to believe, right? They want the local baseball team to be good. Maybe Rob Thomson keeps the Phils on a heater and we scrape back to .500. Let’s keep it Posidelphia around here. Good baseball thoughts only. Pray for home runs and they will come. Get Kayden (not sure of the spelling) and his dad and his friends permanent seats in this section, and whenever we need a big hit, we will turn to them.
