Can Anyone in the Philly Youth Football League Stop Da Hitman, Baby Debo, and Bam Bam?
Jamie Apody tweeted out a video (with consent) showing A.J. Brown signing autographs for the 215 Falcons, a local youth football team in Philly that was invited to camp by the Eagles:
New @Eagles wideout @1kalwaysopen_ made sure to take time and sign autographs for the kids from the 215 Falcons. They were so excited! pic.twitter.com/6xNu6daD4t

The only thing I noticed were the XFL-style nicknames on the back of the jerseys.
You had “Da Hitman” –
“Baby Debo” –
“Bam Bam” –
The fact no one taught these kids enough about the legend of “He Hate Me” is bad parenting.
I never played football, but I was the wooderboy of the Lansdale Cannoneers 90 lb National Champion team, so you could say I know a thing or two about what goes on in the middle of the game. And I’ll tell you what, if I have to consistently line up across from Da Hitman for 60 minutes, I know who’s going to win that battle and it’s not me. You can only rip and swim and contain Baby Debo for so long until he’s getting loose in the open field. And when you think you have the Falcons where you want them, they catch you asleep by motioning Debo into the backfield and going over the top to Bam Bam for 60 yards and the score to rip your heart out.
I might have to get out to a 215 Falcon game this fall when they face the West Philly Panthers. Imagine Da Hitman vs. 6’0 340 lb 11 year old Nyeem Powell. It would be like Aaron Donald vs. Jason Kelce. The crack of the pads would make any football guy smile:

And yes. You could say I’m pretty plugged into the U-12 Philly youth football scene.
