The Eagles had a Chopped-style cooking challenge for all of the rookies. You had Jordan Davis, Nakobe Dean, Cam Jurgens, and Kyron Johnson. Their challenge was to cook steak for judges Avonte Maddox and Dallas Goedert:

Not the first time Jurgens has produced that much DNA in one sitting. I know why they put Cam on the grill, since he does have a beef jerky line, but putting a Big Ugly around heat is just plain fat-shaming. Get him on the line chopping vegetables like Jordan Davis was.

Davis can be a star in this city. So much charisma. So good at shit talking. The star of this whole video. He’s just a  lovable fat guy. Everyone needs the funny fat guy in their crew.


You have to wonder – if Jalen Hurts isn’t the answer, will they give Carson Strong a shot? They signed him to the largest UDFA contract guarantee ever. But if he doesn’t have the character to convince his team garlic bread belongs with the steak then how can he lead his team in the 4th quarter?

How does Dallas Goedert throw out the one team’s dish and they don’t come in last? They should be automatically disqualified. Who doesn’t like medium rare steak? How the hell do they eat it in North Dakota? Even though Cam Jurgens added a little extra seasoning I thought they deserved at least the top-2.

My official rankings based off of presentation:

1. Jordan Davis’ Team

Easily the winner. It looks like a dish from one of those fancy restaurants you leave hungrier than when you got there, but the plate speaks for itself. Yogurt chutney is classy as fuck.

2. Cam Jurgens’ Team

Again maybe it was the onions on the steak that did it in, but Dallas said earlier that he couldn’t wait for them. Presentation is how we’re ranking them and you give me some mash potatoes with a steak you’re getting a high ranking from me every time.

3. Kyron Johnson’s Team

Those potatoes looked amazing.

4. Nakobe Dean’s Team

Fuck off with that medium-well steak stir fry abomination:

We added a little bit of vegetables for color? There’s like four pieces of vegetables on that dish. Is that a lime on the right? Is this why Nakobe Dean really dropped to the third round? If I ever get served Nakobe Dean’s steak stir fry I’d chuck it like Dennis in Always Sunny:
