This eight year old cried over rumors that Tyrese Maxey would be included in any deal involving Kevin Durant:

With all due respect, this kid would be the worst GM in the NBA. Not because he’s eight, but because you can’t let emotion get in the way of tough decisions. Do you think I wanted to see Dario Saric leave in the Jimmy Butler trade? No. But it was necessary for the Sixers to take the next step. I love Tyrese Maxey! I never thought he’d take as giant a leap as he did in the second year. But we’re talking about Kevin Durant. When healthy he’s a top-5 player in this league, even at 33. Imagine a Big Three of Joel Embiid, James Harden, and KD. Not only would it take the burden off of Harden to score and focus instead on facilitating at this age, but also it would level out the historically high usage numbers Embiid takes on every game.

I don’t even mind this father “Old Takes Exposing” his son and using it for Internet clout. This is this generation’s version of hacking your kid in the driveway when you’re playing 1 on 1.  Accountability breeds responsibility.

I love that this guy has been on Twitter for two years and this is his first and only tweet.

Just waiting for the right opportunity to drop a banger and start his Twitter career off hot.

“Humiliating my son for his basketball takes? Yea that’ll do it.”
