Bettors at Caesars Sportsbook really believe in the Eagles this season:

More from Meyer at Caesars Sportsbook:

“Philadelphia has also gotten the second-most money to make the playoffs, only trailing the Saints. After ‘NO’ for making the playoffs was originally favored at -130, ‘YES’ is now sizable chalk at -160 compared to ‘NO’ price now at +140. ‘YES’ has drawn 88.1% of the tickets and 98.9% of the handle among all bets regarding whether the Eagles will make the playoffs. Taking it one step further, Philadelphia (25/1) has racked up the most money and fourth-most tickets to finish with the NFL’s best record this campaign.”

I’m going to say it. I’m gonna do it. I’m not the least bit worried the public is so high on the Eagles. I don’t care what ESPN’s power rankings say. I’m putting on my Kelly Green-colored glasses. There are only six teams in the NFL better than the Birds on paper. I’d say Chiefs, Bills, Rams, Packers, 49ers, and Bucs. The AFC West and NFC West are going to eat each other alive. Quick – name one guy Aaron Rodgers is throwing to. Tom Brady would rather be on The Masked Singer than in camp (allegedly). It’s not crazy! Sprinkling a couple shekels on the Birds at 25/1 is just good business.

I’ll tell you what, though. The Eagles are going to ruin a lot of people’s day if they don’t show up this year. Bettors are high on Miles Sanders, AJ Brown, and Nakobe Dean:

“Bettors are more bearish on Hurts’ backfield mate, tailback Miles Sanders. After he failed to reach paydirt last season, there has been plenty of action on his touchdown prop this time around as well. Under 5.5 rushing touchdowns for Sanders has gotten the second-most tickets (behind Treylon Burks under receiving yards) and the second-most handle (behind Trey Lance over rushing yards) among all season-long offensive player props at Caesars Sportsbook.

Meanwhile, offseason acquisition A.J. Brown (25/1) has received the third-most money to lead the NFL in receiving touchdowns, with only Julio Jones (75/1) and Will Fuller (100/1) out in front.

On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Nakobe Dean slipped to the third round yet there’s been a strong amount of attention on him ahead of his first year. Dean, who opened at 25/1 and is now at 18/1, is first in handle at 19.5% for Defensive Rookie of the Year and third in tickets at 9.4%.”
