As you’ve become aware, there are many options for Philadelphia Eagles content out there. Myriad websites and Twitter accounts and YouTube channels and all of that. That extends to postgame shows, too.

This year, we’ve got Eagles Postgame Live on NBC Sports Philadelphia. We’ve got JAKIB Media bringing in Mikey Miss and Seth Joyner. And now there’s yet another option for postgame viewing with Inside the Birds JOINING THE FRAY (press release) –

PHILADELPHIA, PA – September 8, 2022: “Inside The Birds” announced today the third season of its Eagles pregame show. “Inside The Birds Pregame Live” will livestream exclusively on Inside The Birds YouTube channel: youtube.com/insidethebirds.

The show will feature “Inside The Birds” co-hosts and veteran Philadelphia Eagles/NFL Insiders Adam Caplan and Geoff Mosher, along with NFL Films Senior Producer and “ESPN NFL Matchup Show” co-host Greg Cosell, and former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and co-host of “Q&A” on the Inside the Birds platform, Jason Avant.

Inside the Birds Pregame Live will make its season debut Sunday, Sept. 11, with coverage beginning at 10 a.m. live from Rivers Casino and Sportsbook on Delaware Ave. in Philadelphia. The LIVE, two-hour weekly show will begin at 10 a.m. for all 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. Eagles games, and 5 p.m. for all primetime games.  The show will have a mix of reporting, player analysis, tape breakdown, Eagles discussion, and predictions.

New this season is “Inside The Birds Postgame Live” will feature Adam Caplan, Geoff Mosher and Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer, Tra Thomas, will livestream exclusively on Inside The Birds’ YouTube channel immediately following the conclusion of all Eagles games.

If you’re keeping track here, Inside the Birds does a podcast, written stories, a Q/A with two former Eagles, a pregame show, and now a postgame show. It started as a Mosher and Caplan pod and then expanded onto different platforms with a full programming schedule, which is impressive, no? We’re living in a world now where you can build your own brand without having to do corporate media, which I think is an underrated topic. You don’t have some New York City doofus in a suit calling the shots, because he/she doesn’t know what they’re talking about anyway. Power to the people!

What we should do is make a drop down menu at the top of the website for Eagles postgame shows. You now have:

  • NBCSP: Michael Barkann, Barrett Brooks, Jaws, Reuben Frank
  • JAKIB: Devan Kaney, Derrick Gunn, Seth Joyner, Mike Missanelli
  • Inside the Birds: Adam Caplan, Geoff Mosher, Tra Thomas

We should, in turn, launch a postgame show at Crossing Broad. It’ll be me complaining that people don’t know the difference between RPO and zone read. Then Bob Wankel will join the show to tell us how much he hates Carson Wentz.
