Quinn had 18.5 sacks last year and went to the Pro Bowl at age 31. Only one sack this year, but the Bears are going nowhere fast and he has no guaranteed money on his contract after this season, so they ship out a 4th and bring him in to play for a non-shitty team.

This feels like the Jay Ajayi trade a bit, doesn’t it? Team is playing well, you make a mid-season splash, and let’s fuckin’ go baby. Yeehaw! They really needed another EDGE anyway, because Derek Barnett went down early in the season and you’ve got an aging Brandon Graham with Haason Reddick and Josh Sweat as your top three guys. Not only do they address a position of need, but do it with a big splash without giving up too much in return.
