The Phils won Game 3 of the NLCS 4-2. Hell of a friggin’ performance from Seranthony Dominguez at the end, and Jean Segura was riding the rollercoaster like it was Dorney Park circa 1999. Rickety at times, but you always knew it was gonna be alright. Shout out to Ranger Suarez as well for getting the job done.

Honest to God, when Jason Kelce showed up wearing the white New Balance dad shoes, you know it was gonna be a Phils win:

Credit to Kelce for fully embracing suburban dad life. He probably got these for $59.99 at Kohl’s and now he’s ready to mow that lawn on Saturday morning. Ready to fire up the grill after being railroaded for $200 at the Shoprite due to inflation. Thanks, Obama!

Kelce looks and acts like a normal dude. That’s why people like him. No posturing or whatever. He wears what you and I wear. Only difference is that on Sundays he’s pulling and pancaking while we’re sitting on our asses watching Red Zone. It’s seven hours of commercial free football.

The Phils went for it on Friday night, as they should have. Zero issues with Rob Thomson’s decision making. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME, as Herm Edwards once said. Plus, Game 4 was always gonna be the funky pitching game. No worries. You’ve got Zack Wheeler going again on Sunday and a 2-1 series lead. All is good. Play the song. Ring the bell.
