After 5th Straight Loss, Torts Says Evaluation Hinges on Flyers Getting “Some Damn Players Back”

Godspeed to the beat writers covering this Flyers team, which lost 4-1 to Boston on Thursday night and has dropped five in a row (one in overtime) –
"I have to be really careful about staying patient with this until we really find out who we are when we get a few important guys that are out," John Tortorella said, adding himself into his admonishment.

Measured take from Torts, but who exactly is coming back to this team? Ryan Ellis? Coots? Both of those guys have messed up injuries and there’s zero timetable on when or if they come back at all. Cam Atkinson? He’s healthy enough to skate now, but again, no timetable. That leaves who? JVR? Travis Konecny (who is the leading goal scorer andleft last night’s game)?
Buckle up everybody, it’s gonna get rough.
