Micah Parsons Clarifies Comments About Jalen Hurts to Jordan Mailata
Micah Parsons took a shot at Jalen Hurts being a system QB on Von Miller’s podcast a couple weeks back. After the game it looked like he tried to clarify his comments to Jordan Mailata:
A couple of weeks ago, the media took a small portion of @MicahhParsons11 praising the #Eagles team out of context and made it seem like he was taking a shot at @JalenHurts being the 2022 MVP.

Dov Kleiman is a great follow on Twitter, but I’m not seeing an apology or a clarification here. Maybe the inside the NFL episode tonight will show more, but doesn’t it still sound like he’s giving credit to the OLine and defense and not Jalen? Also, the media didn’t take anything out of context. Here was his quote that set people off, “I just love the game so much, and I understand it so much, that like when things are off I just can’t like hold it in. I almost gotta say something.” Clearly Parsons meant by “what is off” is Jalen performing at an MVP level this season. Don’t try to sugarcoat it now since you forgot how massive Mailata was in person.
Saying it’s “all respect” is straight out of the Ricky Bobby playbook. You can’t just say it’s all respect and then say whatever you want. Even if it’s in the Geneva Convention:
