We were joined on Crossing Broadcast Thursday by Vince Basile, the ER doctor who happened to be on hand when an Eagles fan went unconscious during Sunday’s Saints game. Working with a nurse who was also in their section, Natalie Nichole, Basile says the revived Birds fan asked him for a score update:
First thing he said was, “What’s the score?”

This has to be one of the most Philadelphia stories of all time. An Eagles fan collapses at the Linc in the middle of a game, he’s saved by an ER Doctor still wearing his Mummers gear, then proceeds to ask for a score update after he’s revived. You can’t make this shit up. Shout out to Vince and Natalie for jumping into action.
