Fair enough, though it’s not like the Flyers have some amazing recent track record of developing young players. The environment is favorable for another Owen Tippett type of guy to come here and log minutes in a low-pressure type of situation. It would be like the Nets shipping Ben Simmons to some shit team in the Western Conference and letting him try to find his footing again, out of the spotlight. That’s another way of saying that the Philadelphia Flyers are currently the Houston Rockets, which is sad but true, as James Hetfield once said.
