NBA All Star Game Ratings Were Way Down
Poor viewership:
Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game was the lowest rated and least-watched edition of the game, per @paulsen_smw
• Ratings declined 29% and viewership 27% from last year’s All-Star Game
• The record-low audience places the NBA All-Star Game well behind this year’s NFL Pro Bowl

Rightfully so, because the game was bad and has been for some time now, aside from a few years ago when it was tied at 152 in the fourth quarter and the stars decided to go for it. That was fun.
But otherwise, yeah, there’s nothing compelling about the NBA All Star Game. It’s been a showcase of offensive talent, and it’s cool to see certain stars play together, but once you get halfway through the first quarter you’re thinking to yourself, “oh man, we got 3 1/2 more quarters of this.”
They’ll have to come up with an alternative here because there’s no juice for the ASG. The NFL finally re-worked the Pro Bowl and the NBA probably won’t be far behind.
