Desai is a disciple of the Vic Fangio cloth who believes in getting to the QB through the defensive line, two high safety, and zone schemes. He obviously doesn’t know what he’s signing up for. The Buddy Ryan uncles calling for him to blitz more, guys that never played past JV scrutinizing his soft zone on third and short, and the local radio station calling for his head when the team loses their first game and falls to 8-1. Seems like they’re just waiting to hammer out the details.
