Wow! I did not see this coming:

Anytime you can re-sign an All-Pro you re-sign an All-Pro ~ Jewish Proverb

With $20 million guaranteed you gotta think that spells the end of CJGJ in Philly, right? So now the way everything looks like it’s setting up it seems like the Eagles will be targeting a DT at #10 if Jalen Carter falls or trading back for more assets. Idk. We have a month to figure that out. Right now we celebrate! Hopefully this gives the Eagles fans who were grumbling about Howie Roseman not making any moves something to chew on for a little bit. Remember this is a long game. No one wins the Super Bowl in March. Look at the moves Howie made over eight months last year:

  • All-Pro Haason Reddick – 3/16
  • Zach Pascal – 3/21
  • Kyzir White – 3/26
  • All-Pro AJ Brown – 4/28
  • All-Pro James Bradberry – 5/18
  • CJGJ – 8/30
  • Robert Quinn – 10/26
  • Linval Joseph – 11/16
  • N’Damukong Suh – 11/16

It looks like Bradberry took less according to Josina Anderson:

He turned down more money to stay! Even after Jonathan Gannon and his position coach Dennard Wilson left. Can Slay and Bradberry convince CJGJ to take less too? If that happens the NFL better be ready for the Eagles to run it back.

P.S. Slay isn’t going anywhere:
