Scott Kingery Revenge Tour Currently on Hold
Phillies roster news:
Prior to today’s game, the Phillies reassigned the following players to minor league camp: catchers Aramis Garcia & John Hicks and infielders Jim Haley, Scott Kingery & Weston Wilson.

Right, so the last two bench spots go to Dalton Guthrie and Jake Cave, if no other moves are made. Sent to Lehigh Valley were Michael Plassmeyer, Kody Clemens, Luis Oritz, and Erich Uelmen.
The Scott Kingery rebirth is temporarily on hold. It’s a long season and who knows what will happen, but as of now the Scotty Jetpacks revenge tour is paused. All dates will be rescheduled.
Honestly, I look over the list and focus most on the pitching:
Phillies announced some transactions this morning. Clemens, Plassmeyer, Uelmen, Ortiz optioned. Kingery reassigned.
It appears Andrew Vasquez has the final bullpen spot. Dalton Guthrie on the bench, barring an outside acquisition. pic.twitter.com/YXiMtdsUCM

That’s the best bullpen we’ve had in what, 10 years? Strong arms throughout. We’ve come a long way in a short amount of time.
The starting rotation is a bit iffy due to the Ranger Suarez injury. Taijuan Walker will have to be the three, then Bailey Falter for some important early-season action. Obviously Rhys Hoskins is done for the year and Bryce Harper is still on the mend, so the Phils aren’t exactly rolling into the campaign on the best footing. There’s plenty of talent to stack wins, and Trea Turner had a torrid spring, but the injury situation is kind of shit and casts a bit of a cloud over opening day, but it is what it is.
Go Phils.
