NBC 10 ran a graphic Wednesday showing campaign spending for the Philadelphia mayoral race. See if you can spot the error here:

lol

The guy second from left is not Jeff Brown. Jeff Brown is a white dude. That’s Jimmy DeLeon, another candidate who was a Philly judge for 30+ years.

Jeff Brown looks like this:

Honest mistake. Been there, done that. I once did a Kevin Hart image and wrote “Kevin Hartman” below it by accident. Kevin Hartman was an MLS Goalkeeper.

But yeah, Jeff Brown is the ShopRite guy. He’s one of what feels like 17 bazillion Democrats running for mayor, and as you know, the winner of the Democratic primary becomes mayor, because Jeffrey Lurie would sell the Eagles to Jerry Jones before Philadelphia ever elected a Republican mayor.

The Philadelphia Inquirer endorsed former city controller Rebecca Rhynhart. Crossing Broad has yet to announce our official mayoral endorsement, but we’re leaning towards any candidate who actually gives a shit about the city.
