They took out the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, 114 to 110, to win the best-of-three championship series two games to zero. Jaden Springer, who traveled between Delaware and Philly 400 times this year, won finals MVP. He scored 21 in the clinching win, Mac McClung had 30, and Louis King had 11 and 9 and a huge block at the end.

Good stuff, for real. Maybe development in basketball is not dead? Springer was a first round draft pick after all. Maybe he can play a real role for the Sixers next year, and/or sit on the end of Doc’s bench. We’ll find out!
