The Phillies introduced a dog today that even fans won’t want to throw. Introducing Major. The Phillies are partnering with Team Foster and the Warrior Canine Connection to train him as a service dog:
This dog has to be worth at least 6-10 more wins when it’s all said and done. You’re coming back from a grueling west coast road trip. Maybe the guys didn’t play as well as they hoped. You’re sore and tired and out of sorts as your body acclimates back to the timezone. You probably don’t have it today and might ask Skip for the day off. Then you open the door to the clubhouse and Major is just staring their with his big dumb eyes and you forget about going 0-3 the night before. That’s just dogs man. Whether you’re a professional athlete or working a 9-5. You could be having the worst day ever, but when you’re dog greets you at the door there’s nothing like it. Dogs rule.
