House signed a two-year deal in 2022 worth about $8.4 million. It’s a slight $200,000 increase to the cap hit from this past season, and he’ll be an unrestricted free agent afterward.

He played 56 games this year but was out of the rotation entirely towards the end of the season, only to re-enter for the playoffs and give the Sixers a really solid game five up in Boston. Overall though, just not a lot of contribution for the money they were paying him. At one point, both he and Furkan Korkmaz were sitting on the bench while eating up a little under $10 million in cap, combined.

The way the roster stands now, House will again be a top-8 contract, making the same amount as Tyrese Maxey, who is still on his rookie deal. We’ll see if Nick Nurse can do something with House, otherwise it’s gonna amount to wasted money.
