Gotta start somewhere. We’re scraping the bottom of the barrel with perennial losers like the Ducks and Coyotes, but the good thing about being in the basement is that there’s only one way to go, unless you jackhammer the concrete slab and burrow into the Earth. It’s a new era of orange and time to get Flyered up, because Wayne Gretzky has given Jonesy his blessing:
"We know you're gonna do a great job in Philadelphia. I know Mr. Snider's looking down and he knows he's got the right guy to do that job. Good luck to you, Jonesy” –

FWIW, if you’re a six-year-old Vegas fan, you’ve seen more Stanley Cup triumphs in your lifetime than a Flyers fan who is now in their late 40s. But don’t worry, our time is nigh. Danny Briere and Keith Jones will get this thing turned around.
