Trea Turner bumped down in the order:

By this point you thought he’d be batting .293 and hitting 1st or 2nd. Instead he’s hitting .237, putting up his worst batting numbers since his rookie year, and committing gaffes in the field. Now he’s hitting 8th. Whatever gets him going.

People are arguing about the ages-old “should we support or should we boo?” thing on Twitter and Facebook. Honestly, isn’t it as easy as saying that the guy needs his Alec Bohm moment? He’s playing like shit, the fans let him hear about it, then he figures it out and turns it around. Does anybody really doubt that Turner is this year’s Nick Castellanos? There are myriad recent examples of Philly athletes hearing it from the fans, clapping back (optional), and then they straighten themselves out and it’s like the struggles never happened. That’s likely going to be the case with Turner. You can see it coming from a million miles away.
