NFL news:

Sources tell Crossing Broad he’s already entered the blue medical tent. Bazinga!

At this point, I will now simply copy and paste what I wrote a few weeks ago:

Peters turned 41 in January and played 235 snaps for the Cowboys last year. He again dealt with injuries and appeared in 10 total games.

You only get to do this once, have an NFL career, so God bless Jason Peters for wanting to play as long as possible. That’s admirable. You just don’t ever want it to get to the point where somebody has to step in and tell him that it’s over. The player has to recognize that on their own, at the risk of jeopardizing their legacy with pointless nothing years on the back end of a Hall of Fame career.

Peters came to Philly in one of the best trades in franchise history. He’s a nine-time Pro Bowler and has a Super Bowl ring, even though he didn’t get to play in the big game. He doesn’t have to play another minute in the NFL and will be a first ballot of HOF’er.
