Marisa Pilla to Host Eagles Postgame Show in 2023-2024

With Gabriella Galati leaving for Action News in July, the Eagles will have Marisa Pilla anchor their postgame show this season:
A few weeks back I had the opportunity to host the Eagles postgame show with @EaglesXOs and @Ike58Reese and obviously had a great time. So excited to be joining these two all season long on the Eagles postgame show! Let’s go Birds! pic.twitter.com/ZdjhOuputG

Pilla is a host/anchor/sideline reporter who has done a little bit of everything at the local and national level. She’s been involved with the Philadelphia Union broadcasts for years and worked as a reporter for CBS and NBC, covering the NWSL and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her football experience includes early production and research work at NBC Sports Washington and an Eagles gig where she “anchored live quarterly NFL RedZone updated reports from set in-stadium, hosted half-time show, and conducted live pregame interviews with Eagles alum.”
Not sure if you’ve ever watched the Eagles’ in-house postgame show, but it’s good, and it usually gets upward of 20k views on YouTube (sometimes 30k, 40k, there was one last year that did 60k). It’s Fran Duffy and Ike Reese, so they do the typical “let’s talk about the game” blah blah thing, but they show extended versions of the player and coach press conferences and then Duffy does an Xs and Os breakdown at the end. It’s team-produced, so no, you’re not going to hear anybody eviscerate the defensive coordinator for playing soft fucking zone, but it’s definitely not mouth-piecey, which is not a word, but you know what I mean.
Kevin has been writing about Philadelphia sports since 2009. He spent seven years in the CBS 3 sports department and started with the Union during the team's 2010 inaugural season. He went to the academic powerhouses of Boyertown High School and West Virginia University. email - k.kinkead@sportradar.com
