Here’s Franzke and LA (and Stocker’s) Call of the Epic Game 1 Double Play

Confession: There are times when I’d prefer LA hold off and let Franzke make the call. A “let it breathe” type of thing. Typically he throws the “yes!” in there, and sometimes he does it when Franzke is talking. In this case, there’s some kind of “guh-haw” or whatever that sound was, combined with Kevin Stocker his own “yes,” which then segues into some laughter. It works. It’s just a natural reaction to seeing greatness in front of you. It kind of echoes what you were probably feeling/yelling/doing at home, which is some sort of knee-jerk “holy shit” kind of reaction. What a moment!
